On January 21, 2017, the Women’s March became the largest single day protest in U.S. history.
Millions gathered globally to advocate for legislature supporting women’s rights, healthcare reform, the LGBTQ+ community, intersectional equality, and of course to protest the newly inaugurated U.S. Rapist in Chief.
One year into the shit storm that is the Trump administration and these issues are, as they should be, still at the forefront of politics – and so the second annual Women’s March was held Saturday, January 20th.
Once again, millions gathered in protest showing that they have a lot to say and, in the words of Tom Petty, “you can stand [us] up at the gates of hell but [we] won’t back down”.
